This last week I've somehow lacked motivation and inspiration in the kitchen. I've been feeling quite lethargic and as a result, I've mainly been pulling things out of the freezer (which I made and put in there in the first place, so it wasn't bad), but we also had take away pizza and some other unmemorable meals.
I still feel a bit like that, so in order to try and stop us from having another bad food week, I have made a dinner plan for the next week or so. Of course I might not strictly stick to it as usual, but at least it should help. It'll also mean that I won't buy loads of food that then won't get used when I go shopping now.
Tonight - Salmon Pasta Bake
Saturday - I'm out, so D. will have to fend for himself
Sunday - Yorkshire Puds with Sausage, Mash and Onion Gravy
Monday - Soup
Tuesday - Pasta with Ricotta Sauce
Wednesday - Jacket Potatoes with Beans
Thursday - Chicken Ceasar Salad Wraps
Friday - Chili
Saturday - Beef Stew

I came across your blog only because you came across mine...but I love it! And I love that you're having Yorkshire pudding this week, only because I have no idea what it is (typical annoying American, huh?)and I can't wait to see it! All of your food looks absolutely wonderful. I'm going to have to write down all the things I'd like to try.
Melissa, thanks for your lovely comment. I better make sure I take a pic of the Yorkshire Puddings on Sunday then!
I often write out menus Sylvie, but I rarely stick to them. I cook most of the time as the mood hits me and I never know from one day to the next which mood I will be in! I do really admire people though who can write out a menu plan and then stick to it! Can't wait to see your yorkshire pudds! I have a really great recipe for them myself. It's my father in law's and he was an army cook for years so it's fab and never fails.
