Maybe it's a good idea to look back as well as forward at the beginning of a new year. So without much ado, here are my top five recipes from 2009 (in no particular order):
Labneh with Olives and Pistachios
Onion and Goats' Cheese Flan
Spicy Roast Aubergine with Jeweled Couscous
Muttar Paneer
Lemon Cake with Lemon Cream and Berries

They all look delicious, am going to try making the lemon cake sometime x
That's a hearty top 5 - I'm looking forward to your dishes for 2010! Happy New Year!
that cake looks right up my alley!
Oooooh - I can't decide which looks best. Great selection!
Thats it, the Onions and Goats Cheese Flan has me. I give up! I surrender! I'll happily go with you.
The lemon cake would be my number one - look at those berries! Mmmmm...
They do indeed look good, Seeing the Muttar Paneer has reminded me that I was going to try and make some paneer - now there's a new year's resolution.
I think my favourite has to be the lemon cake with fresh berries, it is a great flavour combo and looks totally delicious.
Sylvie - I always find your recipes so inspiring - and have made lots of them over the last couple of years that I have been following your blog. Just wanted to congratulate you on the tomato soup though - I thought it sounded lovely and it tasted even better!!! A real winter warmer - it's freezing cold and snowy in South west England, (like everywhere else) and my family enjoyed it last night!!! Lucy
Peonies and waterlilies, I think you won't be disappointed if you try the cake. It's pretty good. My friend made it for work and won the cake competition with it.
Chelsea, happy new year to you too!
Jaime, any cake is usually right up my alley!
Marissa, thank you.
James, the flan is one of my all time favourites, not just from 2009.
Alex, even though I like the snowy weather we're having at the moment, I'm already looking forward to all the fresh summer berries, too.
Choclette, I've never made my own paneer, but it sounds like a great resolution for 2010.
Margaret, it is a pretty good cake even if I say so my self.
Lucylastic, thanks so much for your lovely comment. It is such a pleasure to know people enjoy the blog and feel inspired by it to try some of the recipes.
